Seminole Tribal Fair Pow Wow: Stoney Creek Drums (HD Video)

Mama’s Boy by Stoney Creek. A powerful performance of Stoney Creek from North Carolina performing “Mama’s Boy” at the Seminole Tribal Fair and Pow Wow 2015 in Hard Rock Live, Hollywood, Florida February 8, 2015. Drummers & Singers: Jesse Richardson-lead singer, Marty Richardson, Josh Richardson, Chris Strickland, Timothy Mills, Otter Big Mountain, William Jones, Kaya Littleturtle, Josh Moore, Keith Cox, Dakota Richardson. Backup singer is Melissa Richardson.

“Mama’s Boy” was composed by Josh Moore who is Waccamaw Siouan to honor his mother when she was going through hard times and needed to be uplifted. “Mama’s Boy” is part of Stoney Creek’s brand new CD “Dedicated”. Support Stoney Creek by purchasing their New CD “Dedicated”

The group originated in November 1993 from Hollister, North Carolina and is mainly comprised of Haliwa Saponi members. The other tribes represented in Stoney Creek group are Waccamaw Siouan, Lumbee, Tuscarora and Coharie Native American Indians. Their songs are composed in the Tutelo-Saponi language.
